Position Summary

Hai Rural Teachers SACCOS Limited is seeking a talented and experienced ICT Officer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing our ICT infrastructure, ensuring the smooth operation of our banking systems, developing and maintaining software applications, designing graphics, and managing our network.

Key Responsibilities

Banking Systems:

• Oversee the operation and maintenance of banking software systems.
• Ensure data integrity, security, and efficient performance of banking applications.
• Provide support and training to staff on banking system usage.

System Development:

• Develop and maintain software applications to support SACCOS business operations.
• Conduct system analysis, design, testing, and implementation.
• Collaborate with other departments to identify technology needs and implement solutions.

System Development:

• Create and design visual content for marketing and communication materials.
• Develop digital assets for the SACCOS website and social media platforms.
• Ensure brand consistency in all graphics and visual content.

Networking:

• Manage and maintain the SACCOS network infrastructure.
• Ensure network security, performance, and availability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network issues promptly.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Database Administration, Computer Systems Analysis, Computer Systems Security, Network Administration, Web and Multimedia Administration, Computer Applications, Computer Programming, computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in banking systems, system development, graphics design, and networking in similar environments.
